Bangladesh Chaos: Protests and Violence

 

Bangladesh is experiencing a period of significant unrest, with protests and violence erupting across the country . Here are some key points about the situation:

 

CAUSE:- The protests began last month, with students demanding an end to a quota system for government jobs that they say favors those with connections to the prime minister's Awami League party .

 

Escalation into broader challenge: The demonstrations morphed into an unprecedented challenge to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, highlighting the extent of economic distress in Bangladesh .

 

 Violence and crackdown: The situation has turned violent, with a deadly crackdown by security forces leaving nearly 300 people dead since mid-July .THE ARMY OF BANGLADESH REFUSES TO FIRE ON THE VIOLENT PROTESTERS.

 

 

 Prime Minister's resignation: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country on Monday, August 5, 2024 , AS THE MOB ATTACKED ON THE BANGLADESH PARLIAMENT AND PRIME MINISTER'S HOUSE. THE MOB LOOTED , BROKE AND LIGHTED THE PRIME MINISTER HOUSE. BUT THE MILITARY REMAINED NOTRESPONDED.

 

VIOLENCE AND UNREST:- AFTER THE PM OF BD FLED, THE MOB ATTACKED ON POLICE STATIONS AND KILLED THE POLICE PERSONNELS. TILL NOW 24 POLICE OFFICERS WERE KILLED. THE TERRORIST FLED FROM JAIL. POLICE FLED FROM PS STATIONS. THE MOB DESTROY THE GOVT.HOUSES , STATUE OF ''BONGA BONDHU" , THE HOUSE OF MINORITIES.

THEY TOOK CONTROL OF BD PARLIAMENT,PM HOUSE.THEY LOOTED THESE ALSO.

 

Dissolution of Parliament and fresh elections: The country's figurehead president, Mohammed Shahabuddin, announced that Parliament would be dissolved, and a national government would be formed as soon as possible, leading to fresh elections .

 

 Celebrations and continued violence: Hundreds of thousands of people poured into the streets to celebrate Hasina's resignation, but some celebrations soon turned violent, with protesters attacking symbols of her government and party .

OVER 300 PERSON ARE KILLED TILL NOW.

 

INDIAN POSITION:- INDIA HAS REMAINED SILENT ON THIS CRISIS ON GIVING STATEMENTS. BUT AFTER LANDING OF SEIKH HASSINA'S FLIGHT ''AJIT DOVAL'' MET WITH HER AND SHE WAS KEPT IN HIGH SECURITY IN DELHI UNDER INDIAN GOVT.AND INDIAN EXTERNEL AFFAIR MINISTER S.JAISHANKAR SAID ABOUT BANGLADESH CRISIS ON PARLIAMENT AND HE ALSO SAID THAT THE INDIAN GOVT. IS NOTICING THE INCIDENTS.

 

NEW GOVT. FORMATION:- A NEW INTERNAL GOVT HAS BEEN CREATED BY BD ARMY ON 8TH AUGUST 2024 UNDER 

Muhammad Yunus THIS GOVT WILL LED A FRESH ELECTION SOON. INDIAN PM MR. MODI SEND HIS BLESSINGS TO THE NEW INTERNEL GOVT.
